Sunday to launch magazine for Westfield London

Sunday today announced that it has been asked by Westfield, the international shopping centre group, to launch a customer magazine for its flagship centre Westfield London.

The magazine will be launched in March next year and will have an initial circulation of 500,000 copies. Published biannually, the magazine will feature a mix of fashion, luxury, home and dining content. The magazine will encourage footfall and frequency of visit from affluent postcodes in and around London, as well as being available in-centre. There will also be a range of commercial opportunities for advertisers.

Westfield London is anchored by leading British retail names such as House of Fraser, Marks & Spencer, Debenhams, Next and Waitrose. It features more than 280 shops together with 47 restaurants, bars and casual dining outlets. A 14 screen movieplex is to open early next year 2009.  Many of the retailers, from the UK and around the world, have chosen to open flagship ‘concept' stores in the centre.

One of many highlights of the centre is the luxury precinct called The Village, with a number of high-end brands including Louis Vuitton, Dior, Prada, Miu Miu, Tiffany & Co., De Beers and Gucci.

Toby Smeeton, Sunday's Managing Director, said, ‘There is already a terrific buzz around Westfield London and the magazine will continue to build on this. The magazine will have immediate authority and dare to be different. It will get people talking as well as shopping. Having played a part in the launch of Westfield London its launch, we're delighted to be involved in its continued success.'
