Strong ABC debuts for Think Publishing!

Strong ABC debuts for Think Publishing! Think Publishing is delighted to announce strong debut ABC figures for two membership titles: BEER, the magazine for Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) members, and Waterlife, the title for Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT) members.

ABC figures released last week have shown a 16% growth in customer publishing circulation, while consumer magazines experienced a 6.8% circulation drop, illustrating the importance and strength of customer titles in the publishing industry.

BEER magazine, launched in the summer of last year, debuted with an ABC figure of 71,184. Recently praised by MemCom, the organisation that highlights excellence in membership organisation marketing, BEER is mailed directly to members' homes as well as being available on the newsstand. Consistent positive praise from the brewing industry and national press, combined with this strong initial ABC, prove that BEER is an effective marketing tool for CAMRA.

Waterlife has achieved a debut ABC figure of 79,931. Think Publishing started working with the leading wetland conservation charity in 2004 and has seen an increased demand for the publication since its relaunch in 2007. The title has also grown commercially, achieving significant revenue increases from third-party advertisers.

Tilly Boulter, chief executive of Think Publishing, says: "The last year has been an exciting one for us. We've expanded our team, acquired some significant new clients and launched fantastic titles for them. These ABC figures are a reflection that Think Publishing, and the customer publishing industry as a whole are going from strength to strength."
