Caspian to publish million-member magazine
Caspian has been awarded the contract to publish "benhealth", the quarterly publication of the Benenden Healthcare Society.After a full competitive tender process, Caspian is appointed to help the Society take its quarterly magazine to a new level of publishing excellence. The Benenden Healthcare Society is a not-for-profit mutual society that has been providing discretionary healthcare for 105 years. The Society has a membership of more than 940,000.
"The opportunity to publish and grow such a significant title doesn't come along very often, and we are honoured to be appointed by the Society to publish its member magazine," said Caspian's communications director Matthew Rock. "Having worked with leading UK membership organisations, such as the CBI, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and British Standards Institution over the past 12 years, we understand how to balance high-quality editorial, design and advertising with members' information needs.
"benhealth is one of the UK's biggest-circulation customer magazines, which has until now had a relatively low profile. However, with such a large and prestigious membership across the UK, benhealth has the opportunity to grow into Britain's next great membership magazine. "We will be announcing further new client magazine wins in the next two weeks," Rock concluded.
"The Society is all about serving members and, with Caspian on board to publish benhealth, our members will receive a reinvigorated magazine of the highest calibre," said Benenden Healthcare Society head of communications Lawrence Christensen. "We were enormously impressed by Caspian's flair, attention to detail and clear understanding of membership organisations. having recieved the benhealth magazine i have tried to access the competition for the fitness give away but the web site will not let me .I would appreciate it if you could enter for me regards mike
