APA Digital Breakfast: The digital focus in 2010 - Tues 26th Jan

With the rise of the smart phone, the whispered launch of the Apple tablet, and traditional advertising formats in decline, 2010 is going to be a year of big changes for printed and digital content, and as the market leaders of branded content it is essential that you know what the future holds...so book today to guarantee your place.

Topic
The digital focus in 2010 - What are the hottest trends to look forward to this year in digital, from real-time search to cloud computing to the mobile web.

Talking at the breakfast will be:

Ashley Friedlein, CEO and Founder, Econsultancy.com
Econsultancy has been successfully operating a 'freemium' model of publishing for 10 years. Founder and CEO Ashley Friedlein will talk about what is important, and what works, in order to be successful at selling content online.

Mat Morrison, Director, Mediaczar
Mat will discuss how digital media, traditional media and the real world work together, and what publishers can do to adapt editorial policy to advertiser requirements without compromising their relationship with their audience.

Jon Mew, Head of Mobile, Internet Advertising Bureau

Jon will take a look at why mobile should already be important to publishers by exploring the big trends in mobile at the moment. Whilst lots of companies seem happy to sit on the sidelines and wait for 'the year of the mobile', he will look at how consumers aren't waiting and how they are already changing their media consumption and increasingly using mobile.

He'll also look at some early learning's from mobile advertising and how much the market is worth and run through some of the advertising trends and what works well for advertisers and publishers.
