Cedar Cedar scored a hat trick at Wednesday's 2008 APA Effectiveness Awards, with wins for British Airways Business Life, Eight magazine for 888.com and Nikon Pro.

Business Life scooped the Most Effective Travel & Leisure title, making it an impressive three wins in the last four years for the British Airways inflight magazine.

Nikon Pro also continued a winning run as it carried off the International Magazine of the Year title. The magazine has now won a remarkable five APA awards in the last five years.

In its first year of entering, Eight magazine made a winning debut in the Most Effective Membership (Consumer) category.

Cedar's success in three very different categories is a signal of its strength in depth across a host of markets. Cedar was one of only two agencies to win more than two awards.

"To win three awards across such a diverse range of markets is a fantastic achievement," says Dan Davey, director of account management. "We focus very strongly on delivering highly effective communication for our clients and while our first judge is always the customer, it's great that our peers recognise we are producing leading and highly effective work within the publishing industry."
