Pinterest - the online social pinboard

APA is loving Pinterest - a social online pinboard. It lets you create online pinboards made up of photos and videos for different categories that interest you such as receipes, interior design, and fashion into which you pin items you like. Apparently there are already 3.3 million users and 421 million page views! You can view it here, it's really well laid out with a very simple view and navigation.

What is interesting, are the new opportunities it opens out for brands, and how brands should approach it. You can read an article about what brands are already doing here. In the meantime, get yourself on the waiting list (yes there is one) and immerse yourself in what could be the next big social media sharing site.
