Who are the APA?


The Association of Publishing Agencies (APA) is the industry body for the content marketing industry. Our members are agencies who produce ground breaking content marketing strategies and effective content for client brands across all disciplines including print, video, mobile and online. 

It’s estimated that the industry is currently worth around £904m and is projected to be worth around £1 billion by 2011 (Mintel).

Central to this phenomenal growth is the work of the APA. As standard bearers for the industry, they commission vital research into the medium, launch and develop high profile initiatives designed to drive new business for member agencies, and organise a number of industry awards showcasing its effectiveness. 

Formed in 1993, the APA now has 34 full members, 22 affiliate members and 7 overseas members.
