Following a career in fashion and entertainment journalism, King co-founded Square One in 1994 which he merged with Seven Publishing in 2007. The company has a turnover of over £30m and has a client roster including ASOS.com, English Heritage, Waterstone’s, Fortnum & Mason, the RAC and the Home Office.

Patrick Fuller, the ex managing director of Haymarket Network, the customer publishing arm of Haymarket Publishing Group has joined APA in the newly created CEO role.
Patrick has a wealth of experience in the publishing industry having joined Haymarket in 1973 as a sales executive and has been responsible as Publishing Director and Managing Director for many of its consumer and business titles. In 1998 he launched Haymarket’s customer publishing division and has built it into one of Europe’s largest customer publishers, with clients including Manchester United, The British Army and the Football Association.

Julia has had a varied media career to date including working both client and supplier side. Before joining the APA in 2004, Julia was marketing and new business director at media agency, Starcom Motive. She also has previous publishing experience having worked at Business Age Magazine, Sunday Business Publishing and HH&S running the Associated Newspaper account.

Carly Osman, APA Marketing and Events Executive

Carly is a recent recruit to APA, joining in August 2006. Having just graduated from Liverpool University with a BSc in Psychology and Business, her new role involves APA marketing activity,  members support, website development and APA events; including the customer publishing awards, and new for 2007 the APA creative awards.

Tina Hart, APA New Business and Research Executive

Having originally started at the APA as a temp in October 2006, Tina is now fully established as the team’s Research and New Business Executive.  After studying Psychology at the University of Surrey, her current role includes aiding the development of the Research and Digital committees, Steering Group Council, and AGM alongside assisting with New Business matters and the recently launched initiative APA ASK.
